DIY Wood Pallet Wall Art

LMB and myself have been busy getting our house ready to put on the market, with a recent change in September, as seen on Liz Marie Blog, our front bedroom has been getting a little more attention over the past week. Buck, our faux deer head,  has found a new home, and a void needed to be filled in his absence. We came up with a great idea for a DIY wood pallet wall art. Here is how we built it. First, according to my interior designer (LMB), we needed to make sure our "scaling" was cohesive. With whatever that means, we determined our artworks'  dimensions to 30 wide X 28 1/4 tall. The wood we used was 1 X 4 SPF, with actual dimensions of 3/4 X 3 1/2. If your confused by the math, the boards are not tongue and groove, with nearly invisible gaps between the pieces, stretch's those 3 1/2 stacked boards to a total length of 28 1/2.
